Pilates FAQs
-
All of our Reformer Pilates classes are open to all levels, but we do recommend having some prior experience on the Reformer before joining a group class. A private session is a great way to build confidence and familiarity, and we’d be happy to schedule one with you!
-
Mat Pilates is done on the floor using your body weight for resistance, often incorporating props like weights, bands, balls, and blocks to enhance the workout. Reformer Pilates uses a spring-based machine (the Reformer) to provide adjustable resistance and support, allowing for a wider range of exercises and intensity levels. Other props can be incorporated into Reformer classes as well.
-
Hot Pilates is a 45-minute heated mat class (95–99 degrees) that combines core-focused Pilates movements with the benefits of heat for flexibility, endurance, and sweat.
-
Reformer Jump is an intermediate-to-advanced option combining low-impact cardio and Pilates strength on the jump board. It’s great for clients looking to elevate their practice.
-
Comfortable, form-fitting clothes. Grip socks are recommended for Reformer classes to ensure stability.

While we welcome walk-ins for Mat Pilates and Hot Pilates, we encourage you to sign up in advance to secure your spot and help our instructors plan accordingly. Advance sign-up is required for Reformer classes, as we only have 5 Reformers and want to ensure there's space for you. That said, if you're already here and there's an open spot—feel free to jump in!
